Dr. Patten received his undergraduate degree in 1980 from Vanderbilt University where he majored in Biomedical Engineering.
He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 1984.
Dr. Patten completed his internship at Georgetown University/D.C. General Hospital.
He was a senior resident at Meharry Medical College and served as chief resident at Alvin C. York, VAMC in Tennessee.
He received his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1989 and in Geriatrics in 1998. Dr. Patten is member of
Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals.
Dr. Patten practiced internal medicine at North Atlanta Medical Associates, P.C. in Tucker, Georgia from 1999 to 2006.
In early 2006, Dr. Patten realized his dream of owning his own private medical practice and started
Perimeter Medical Associates.
